The only ladies that have show any interest are SCAMMERS.I have been with the site for one year and have found a total waste of time and money. If you are wanting to scam someone then this is the site for you.I email them to try to get an answer to a question that has been bugging me and that is how can you receive a message without them viewing your profile, that was a week ago and I'm still waiting.

The comments here jive with my own experience. I wasted a few long nights updating my profile thinking I might meet some amazing ladies! Luckily, after only one week and after reading these comments I deleted my account today. So today, when I tried to do that, cupidswand.com tried to reel me in for a lifetime membership for $29.95, which then dropped suddenly to $9.95 when I persisted to withdraw. "According to their terms of service," it will take some time for them to actually do this. (???) Stay away from this site and save your time, money and yourself from feeling used.

Started writing a lady who stated she was in Homestead, FL. She stated she was going to Asia to see her mother. She professed all kinds of love for me. She was also going to clear up her deceased father's estate. Amazingly, when she supposedly got there she didn't have enough money to handle the estate and get home. She wanted me to send her money. This was never going to occur.

When she, again supposedly, got back and I called her on the situation she became very verbally abusive toward me. It was very obvious that this is a take-off on the classic "Nigerian Scam" that any idiot can see. This individual has not been removed from the site although proof of her lies were presented to the moderators through chat history logs. Do Not become involved with this site or have anything to do with it. This is a site that is set up to allow scammers to have their way!!

I joined this thinking it may be an affiliate with OkCupid which is a dating site I really like. But this is not a dating service, It is a money maker. Now I would not mind paying, but at least give me a chance to try the site out. I was not able to check mail, or anything of that sort. I had to subscribe first. And they advertise that you can try for free, but fail to specify what trying entails.

When I tried to unsubscribe the first time I could not even click the button, until this morning. But when I tried this morning, they threw offers in my face as if they were desperate for cash flow. I went through at least 5 offers before finally I was able to delete my account.

For anyone looking for a dating site where you can actually message, and interact with singles looking to date, see how well you match, try OkCupid. I am there and it is much easier to use.

I do not recommend Cupids Wand to anyone, even if you can afford it.

This site is an absolute scam. I tried the free signup which is advertised but you can't read the emails. Within a few hours of signing up I got about 6 emails from cute young things but of course i could not read them. All were supposed to be from the local area but a couple had names of locations that no one from here would use as an area name - I actually had to Google one to find out where it was. Many warning bells. Then the emails about sorry our site is experiencing technical difficulties so we are offering you a special deal for you patience. More warning bells. I decided to read about the site and there are tons of warnings on line so i deleted my account - I get a final offer to get a LIFETIME membership for the cost of about a one month 'regular price' recurring subscription. What a scam - stay far far away. I'm sure any 'good' reviews have been planted.

See my review for findmelove.com: It's the same site, which goes under a number of names. The developers have mastered the art of bum-dating-websites: Create enough pseudonyms to stay ahead of negative reviews, so when they catch on to one website, you'll still have five others to make a quick buck. They might not be stealing credit card information, but they ARE charging a bunch of money by encouraging daters with swarms of e-mails from beautiful, fake profiles. Send ten e-mails, don't show them until the customer signs up, then reveal that the e-mails are gibberish. Brilliant, but not worth your time.
